A
YMCA membership gives you so much more than access
to our facilities. It helps you lead a healthier lifestyle
- by building relationships, providing a way for you
to be a part of your community, helping you to help
others - not to mention the great workout you get
through our programs and equipment. A YMCA membership
sets you on the path to good health in spirit, mind,
and body, helping you to enjoy living a full and balanced
life.
Your
membership gives you access to all YMCA programs,
either included in your membership or at a reduced
rate.

Policies
Definition
of Family Membership
Family membership includes head of the household,
and all claimed dependents in the household. College
students ages 19-23 may be included in the family
membership IF they are still residing with parents.
No exceptions to this policy.
Membership
Cards
When you come into the YMCA, you will be asked to
present your membership card for several reasons.
This will improve speed and accuracy of the registration
process, guarantee you will receive all membership
benefits, ensure that all facility and program users
are authorized, and provide valid statistics of facility
use to base future expansion decisions. Memberships
are not transferable from one individual to another.
Loaning out of cards may result in loss of membership
privileges. Replacement Card fee: $5 per card.
Scholarships
The
Edwardsville YMCA has established reasonable membership
and program fees. We realize that some individuals
and families from our community may not be in a financial
position to use our services. We believe we have a
responsibility to provide the assistance necessary
to make sure local district #7 residents have access
to the YMCA. Please contact the YMCA for financial
assistance information. Scholarship program made possible
by support from The United Way and the YMCA Century
Club.
