Holiday
Social Wednesday,
December 12, 2007 at 11:00am at the Esic Center North
Gym
Come
and share a special lunch with us and get in the holiday
spirit. The YMCA will furnish the meat, but we need
you to sign up so that we know how much to order for
the luncheon. When you sign up please list the side
dish that you would like to bring. The sign up sheet
will be at the service desk for your convenience.
Water
Walking
An open time for walking or jogging in the water.
Great for resistance and less strain on the body.
Leisure or serious. Walker or jogger. Pool #2.
Monday - Friday, 6:30am-8:30am.
Arthritis
Exercise Water Fitness Class
Performance of exercises in the water to increase
joint mobility, improve muscular strength, and increase
vitality. The goal is easier joint movement to carry
out daily activities. The water provides buoyancy
to lessen weight on affected joints. Co-Ed. Drop-In.
Pool #2. Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 9:35am-10:30am.
Members $2; Nonmembers $5. Pre-paid drop-in punch
card: Members $20; Nonmembers $50.
Tai
Chi & Yoga Water Fitness Class
Combining
elements of Tai Chi and Yoga Exercises to improve
strength, stamina, and flexibility. Swimming helpful,
but not necessary. Pool
#2. Tuesday & Thursday, 9:30am-10:30am. Members
$2; Nonmembers $5. Prepaid drop-in punch card: Members
$20; Nonmembers $50.
Group
Fitness: Fitness Over 50
This class utilizes a combination of aerobic styles
for cardio fitness. Toning and stretching are also
components of the class. See
