Meyer Center Program Pool

The Meyer Center Program Pool is a 4-lane, 25-yard pool which is 3 feet deep in the shallow end and 5 feet deep in the deep end. It is handicap accessible. Water temperature is 80-85 degrees. Ages 7 and under MUST have an adult with them in the pool area.

• The YMCA reserves the right to close the pool at any time due to threatening weather conditions.
• The pool was designed and scheduled with the primary function of supporting the YMCA's 600 participants in our summer camp, as well as providing the additional opportunity for more individuals to participate in various aquatics programs.
• Lap swims and open swims at the Meyer Center pool will be limited to Edwardsville YMCA members only.
• Non-members are welcome to use the Esic pools during open swim times.
• The Esic Center pools have expanded pool schedules that offer a wide range of open swim times along with additional lap swim, aquatic lesson times, and water exercise classes that are available for members and nonmembers
• All Edwardsville YMCA members must show a current YMCA membership card at the designated area of the front desk to receive authorization to enter the pool area.
• The number of swimmers allowed in the pool area will be limited in accordance with State of Illinois swimming pool codes and for obvious safety reason. The limit will be set before the pool opens. We cannot allow members to enter the pool area once we have reached capacity.
• Everyone must follow the pool rules posted on the pool deck. No Exceptions!
• Please contact the Facility Rental Coordinator at the Esic Center, 656-0436, for information on pool and facility rental options.
• The pool will be closed on Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day.
