The PTC is the fund raising organization at St. Mary's School. Our fund raising helps to offset the cost of the many extra programs and supplemental supplies for our teachers. The PTC meets five times during the school year to plan fund raising and vote on how funds will be spent. Highlighted below are the fundraisers that occur.

Auction
The auction and dinner is a fun evening out to raise money for our school. The Auction will be held at SIUE Meridian Ballroom, 2nd floor of Morris University Center. It will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2007. Doors open at 6pm. Click here for more info

Box Tops for Education
Through the box tops for education program we raise approximately $1,000 each year. Please encourage family, friends and neighbors to help in this easy fundraiser. When submitting your box tops please cut carefully along the dotted lines. If possible send your box tops in ziploc bags in groups of 50. Please indicate the number included on the bag.

Bingo
Longaberger Basket Bingo raises around $2,000 annually. Stay tuned for dates for 2007 - 2008.

Cardinal's Game
Attend a cardinal's game and raise money for our school at the same time! We raised $2,100 last year at this event. The choir performs "Take Me Out to The Ballgame". The game we will attend will be in the spring.

Innisbrook Wrapping Paper
This fundraiser generates around $10,000 annually. This fundraiser takes place in September. New Chair needed for 2008! Please contact Laura Dehr if interested.

Market Day
The Market Day fundraiser generated $2,200 last year. Market Day sales occur once a month. Market Day products range from butcher shop meats and poultry to easy family meals, delicious appetizers and gourmet desserts. St. Mary's receives 10% of the sale.

Scrip
The Scrip program raised $20,000 last year. SCRIP is a term that means "FREE MONEY." St. Mary's purchases gift certificates from participating retailers that are redeemable just like cash. (When you purchase SCRIP from St. Mary's, you are purchasing negotiable gift certificates that are treated just like cash.) Click here for more info

Wine & Beer Tasting
Our first wine and beer tasting event raised $2,000. This event will take place on Saturday April 19, 2008 in the St. Mary's Gym.

Additional ways to help our School earn money for various programs:

  • InkJet Recycling - Donate old ink cartridges to Mrs. Toon
  • Paper Recycling - Recycle your old newspapers and magazines in the bins on the parking lot.
  • Aluminum Can Recycling - Please donate your cans to the school - more info to follow. Need chairperson.
  • Milk Jug Lids - Turn clean lids into the school office. We need to collect 3,000 lids.
