Character. Compassion. Values.
These three attributes are the focus of Catholic Schools nationwide this school year. We are called not only to exhibit these attributes to one another, but also to bring them to the world in the way that Jesus did.
Jesus teaches us that to be a person of character, we must live our everyday lives as He did through good works and gentle words to others.
Seeing people in need hurts our hearts and beckons us to act. We work for Jesus every time we answer the human cry for acceptance, tolerance and love with compassion.
We value the lives of others because we know that all people are made in the image and likeness of God. Teachers and students strive to treat every individual with the same care that we would treat Jesus.
Jesus promised us that if we turn to Him, He can transform our hearts to be like His own. What a great gift!
At St. Mary's School we are learning new ways to use and develop these great gifts every day.
