The St. Mary's Men's Club is introducing a new and exciting fundraiser!
St. Mary's will be selling 2009 calendars for $25.00 each. The
calendars contain community pictures from Edwardsville and Glen
Carbon.
The buyer of each calendar is entered into a raffle and has 377
chances to win cash prizes throughout 2009. There will be a cash
prize drawing each day in 2009.
1st of each month - a $100 and a $500 drawing
Christmas - a $200 drawing
The other 352 days there will be a $50.00 drawing
Winners are thrown back in for another chance to win!
$25,000 cash will be awarded in 2009
"How can I help make this fundraiser a huge success?"
The success of our Calendar Raffle is dependant on everyone's participation
in helping sell the calendars. Each school family, PSR family and
parish family will be asked to sell 10 calendars.
Give a gift that keeps on Giving!
Remember, all your friends, co-workers and family need a calendar!
This fundraiser has been a huge success at other parishes throughout
Illinois. Some people may not want the calendar, but the chance
to win cash prizes! It never hurts to ask! Birthdays, graduations,
Father's Day, gift exchanges, stocking stuffers, a hostess gift,
thank you gift or giva as a tip to a hairdresser, teacher, mailman
or trashman.
"How much money can we make with this fundraiser?"
We sell each calendar for $25. The Men's Club is initially printing
4500 calendars.
We break even at 1500 sold. Every calendar we sell above that is
pure profit. When we sell all 4500 we make $80,000. We will print
additional calendars once we meet this goal! The more we sell, the
more money we make!
"How will the profits be distributed?"
Proceeds will pay for printing the calendars for 2009 and 2010.
The remaining money will be distributed as follows:
37 ½ % to School, 37 ½ % to Church and 25% to the
Men's Club (for a project to be specified at a later date).
We truly hope each family will throw their full support to this
fundraiser as St. Mary's will no longer participate in the Catholic
Annual Raffle (C.A.R.) as we have the past two years
