October is Fire Safety Month!

Mrs. Dant's & Mrs. Salantai's Kindergarten Classes learned about Fire Safety on a trip to Fire Station #2 in Edwardsville. Firefighter Mark and Firefighter Terry taught the students how a fire station works, what kinds of equipment they use to put out fires, and how important it is to study in school to be a firefighter. Then, the students (and Mrs. Salantai) got to take turns spraying the firehose! Check out the pictures below to see how much fun it was to visit the Fire Station!
