is simple, Rescue, Rehabilitate, and Re-home. We have
about 25 pets on hand at any given time looking for
their Forever Home. All pets in our adoption
program are trained in basic household manners, they
receive regular grooming by the staff at LaBest,Inc.
and are very lovable pets. |

MEHS
is a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal shelter
in Edwardsville that serves a four- to five-county
region of Southern Illinois. MEHS is dedicated to
bettering the welfare of domestic animals through
humane-minded endeavors, including active adoption,
volunteering, humane education, and humane investigation
programs. MEHS receives no funding from the government--federal,
state, or local--and so we always welcome donations
of time (through volunteering), skills such as carpentry
or data entry, pet-related items, and money. For more
